9th November 2004 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Ynyslas Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 25 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 10ºC Sea Temperature: 12ºC Weather: Mainly Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Started off with a lovely steady 25 knot wind and the sun shining. had about an hour of such perfection, then just as Chris and Larry turned up and launched their kites the wind dropped off loads and I sunk. I ended up walking back upwind and getting my bigger board. Once back out on the water that was just big enough, and then the wind soon started to fill in again so that I was maxed out with the 5m. I could have changed back down to the samller board come the end, bt as it was getting dark I decided to call it a day. |
